We have robust safeguarding protocols, and we have FA-qualified and DBS-checked coaches.

Boys/Mixed Football

We have over 140 (mainly boys) in our mixed group. We have ten teams entered into the Epsom and Ewell League playing on Saturdays. We start taking players from Reception.

Girls' Football

In 2024, approximately 60 girls are registered with the club. Three teams are entered into the Epsom and Ewell League, which plays on Saturdays, and three teams play in the Surrey County Women's and Girls League, which plays on Sundays. We start taking players from School Year 1.

We have sessions for boys and girls

Starting 30 years ago with a small group of passionate parents, the club now has over 200 girls and boys registered. Our boys/mixed teams play in the Epsom and Ewell League, and our girls’ teams play in both the Epsom and Ewell League and the Surrey County Women’s & Girls League.

Our focus is on encouraging children to develop a love of football. Whether a boy or a girl, we aim to get them playing, encourage lifelong participation, and help them enjoy the game of football.

The focus of early years is participation and enjoyment; who they’re playing with is less important. In 2023, we introduced ‘Mini Warriors’  and partnered with a well-respected local coaching company to deliver this initiative. Delivered by professional Coaches, u6 boys and u8 girls will learn the basic skills needed to develop in the game. This groundbreaking approach provides a clear development pathway for the players and a sustainable foundation for the Club moving forward.

At Walton Warriors, girls have the opportunity to decide whether to play mixed or girls-only football. Every player is different, and we always take an individual approach to player development. What could be suitable for one child might not be great for another, even if they have the same aspirations.
