Enabling Our Players

At Walton Warriors, everything we do starts with one goal: helping our players thrive, both on and off the pitch. Behind every training session, matchday, and moment of progress is a group of dedicated volunteers who work hard to make it all possible.

Our Chair, Paul Devine, provides the leadership and vision that keep the club moving forward. A long-standing Warrior, local resident, and passionate supporter of youth football, Paul helps ensure our values, teamwork, respect, and community, remain at the heart of everything we do.

Keeping players safe is our top priority. Our Welfare Officer, Anna Yates, works closely with Paul and our coaches to make sure every player feels supported, included, and protected.

Financial stability helps us focus on what really matters: football. Thanks to our Treasurer, Geoff Wootton, the club remains on a firm footing, with fair subscriptions and ongoing investment in kit, equipment, and facilities.

Smooth organisation allows our players to turn up and play. Our Club Secretary, James Felton, makes sure everything runs as it should across multiple leagues, supporting both our boys’ and girls’ teams week in, week out.

Finally, we believe communication builds connection. Through newsletters, social media, and updates on this website, we keep families informed and involved — because when everyone feels part of the journey, our players benefit most.
